IT Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements for software implementation
• Design, configure, and customize software applications to meet client specifications
• Provide training and support to clients during and after the solution deployment process
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to software usage and performance
• Keep up to date with industry trends and software advancements to ensure optimal service delivery
  
  

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in any SQL system (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, etc.)
• Experience with Scripting/Programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++/C#, Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.)
• Experience using RESTful APIs
  
  

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in IT consulting or software implementation, preferably in a higher education and professional services environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
• Ability to manage multiple projects, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
• Ability to travel up to 20%
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; will also consider 5+ years of related work experience
  
  

Other Qualifications:

• Building/maintaining ETL processes
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with team members and other departments
• Ability to follow all professional services standards and guidelines
• Must be a proven self-motivator in completing integrations and learning new technologies
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
  
  

Compensation & Benefits:

The pay range for this remote position varies depending on knowledge, skills and experience.  This position is also eligible for an annual bonus. The benefits package includes medical insurance, 401K plan, and PTO.
